In Loving Memory: Honoring the life and legacy of our esteemed partner, Lawrence ‘Larry’ Scaringelli

In Memoriam: Lawrence “Larry” Scaringelli

PARTNER

Lawrence F. Scaringelli
Our partner, Lawrence “Larry” Scaringelli, passed away at his home, surrounded by family, on October 19, 2025, following a Sunday gathering with close friends, family members, and colleagues from the Firm. Larry was a respected and admired practitioner whose decades of work in guardianship, conservatorship, trust, and probate law left a lasting mark on the Arizona legal community. Since beginning his practice in Arizona in 1991, Larry earned the trust of clients, colleagues, and the judiciary alike through his cutting intellect, steady judgment, and generosity in sharing knowledge. He was always willing to take the time to teach, explain, or guide those who sought his help. His clarity and insight on complex probate and trust issues made him a valued resource to the Arizona legal community.

Larry consistently elevated those around him. He gave his time and knowledge freely, whether offering quiet guidance to a colleague, preparing a simple will for a widow, or taking on more complex matters without expectation of return. Much of this went unspoken and would have remained unknown had members of the Firm and its staff not witnessed it. He treated everyone equally, regardless of station or circumstance; unimpressed by titles or status, he was the same genuine, unpretentious person to all. His quiet generosity touched countless lives.

Larry had a commanding presence and exceptional character. He was truly larger than life, magnetic, and deeply optimistic about the potential of life itself.
Outside of the office, Larry had a passion for travel, wine tastings, technology, and literature.

Larry leaves behind his two adult daughters, Kaitlin and Nicole, whom he loved deeply, as well as his mother Harriette, sister Janeen, brother-in-law Rich, and nephew Lukas, who were all so helpful throughout his illness. He was predeceased by his father, Lawrence Sr.

We are grateful to have known and worked alongside Larry. His legacy will remain an enduring part of our Firm. He is deeply missed.
