Jennifer Kupiszewski (“Jen”) is a native Arizona graduating from ASU law school with a degree in microbiology and from ASU Law in 1997. Jen’s legal practice has always been assisting families through challenging times. Before going into private practice Jen represented the Arizona Department of Economic Security/Child Protective Services Division in juvenile court cases involving dependency, severance and guardianship matters. At the Arizona Center for Disability Law Jennifer Kupiszewski was co-counsel on the class action lawsuit against the State of Arizona, Jason K. v. Eden, to obtain mental health services for children. Jen also represented the Maricopa County Public Fiduciary in court cases involving adult guardianship and conservatorships. Through these diverse experiences she learned how to navigate social security, the Division of Developmental Disabilities and mental health systems.
Currently, in private practice since 2007 Jen practices in areas of elder law and probate and trust administration. She expanded her practice to assisting families after a loved one has died to administer their estate and trust. Especially, if there is family conflict related to their loved one’s passing. She continues to represent families in finding solutions when there has been abuse, neglect, or financial exploitation and when a loved one becomes incapacitated. Jen has a lot of practical experience that has come over the years through her own family helping her sister with her niece who has Down’s Syndrome, administering her mom’s estate when she passed in 2017, and taking care of her father and his affairs while in hospice. Jen brings her personal experience into her professional life to provide care and empathy to her clients.
Jennifer Kupiszewski has volunteered her time with several organizations over the years. She was on the Board of Raising Special Kids for nine years and is the Past Board Chair.
Jen is married to Steve Kupiszewski and they have a blended family of five children plus two grandchildren, Brynlee and Beckett, the light of their lives. Of course, they hope for more but keep that to themselves. Together they have one “child” their beloved dog, Scooby Doo. Their greatest accomplishment is they are five-for-five on college graduates and all of the children are full-time employed and self-sufficient!
